We are looking for a process specialist

The Product Design Interface within GO CN&CF Region Parenteral Nutrition Europe is a new team with the responsibility to coordinate the PN expert network within the plants and act as a central entry point for PN-related questions within the GO.

Our focus parenteral products are emulsions and amino acid solutions in glass bottles, 1CB, 2CB or 3CB but we also work with vitamins, electrolytes and trace elements.

We are looking for applicants with a solid theoretical background, preferably with a PhD in physical chemistry, who is genuinely interested in combining theoretical evaluations with practical work in the lab. Previous experience from emulsion manufacturing and/or clinical application of parenteral emulsions as well as GMP is beneficial.

As process specialist you will:

* Lead scale-up activities according to quality by design principles.
* Independently manage problem solving and process improvements within the PN business from a technical point of view with emulsion manufacturing in focus.
* Perform theoretical evaluations, confirm the theories through experiments, document the results and share the results with the PN network.
* Propose and implement new processes and/or process improvements.
* Interact with the global PN expert network through training sessions, on site visits and online knowledge exchange.
* Work as a project manager occasionally when needed

You who apply for this position are comfortable in communicating with people at different levels of the organization and at different sites. Previous experience of project management and/or quality by design will be valued.  As a person you are flexible, take initiative and take responsibility for the result and quality of your own work. Good English skills both spoken and in writing is a must. Other languages skills such as Swedish or Mandarin are a benefit.

Your office will be in the Pilot Plant at the Uppsala site.
