You will have a leading Operations role in an expansive environment where there is pulse and movement, and everything moves forward at lightning speed.
Netmore provide nation-wide LoRaWAN connectivity which is purpose-built to onboard millions of devices and also an easy-to-use platform with advanced features to manage and control the devices and the network. On the other end of wireless connectivity Netmore is a leader in 5G indoor neutral host deployments to the largest property owners in the Nordics. For property owners digitizing the building Cyber Security is essential and this is where Netmore Propnet and Protech Node comes into play with capacity to deliver open access broadband services and WiFi.

Your work life
This is what a normal day can look like for you in your role:
You start by analyzing the outcome of events summarized by the 24/7 monitoring team and status check of current status in the networks. Have there been any upgrades, operational disruptions or customer issues reported by support? The gathered information will produce an overall picture which is the basis for today’s priority. Then you plan upgrades, patches, and improvements to the network/methodology. You monitor the operation and are available for calls from customers and trouble shooting in the networks.
You will also act as solution designer/architect and support the tech pre-sales team from operations perspective.
The work is done together with peers and include a great deal of self-leadership and freedom to work towards common goals and superior customer experience. Even if the job is office hours, you may need to be available at some odd when upgrades take place or if there may be disturbances in the system that require an "fire-fighting" attitude.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, it is important that you have worked hands-on in switching and routing of LAN / WAN / MAN (Layer 2 & 3, BGP, RIP, IGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF) You have good experience of Firewall and VPN connections. We also see it as necessary that you have worked several years with network operations and design.
You find advanced trouble shooting in different environments and networks as a natural and interesting part of your daily work.
In this role you need to be fluent in English both spoken and written at a professional level.
It is also an advantage that you have good knowledge of:
• WiFi-Management
• SD-WAN (NFV, SDN)
• Mobile networks
• Roaming
• LoRaWAN
• Server management
• CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
• CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional
We also see it as a big plus if you come from the Telecom, ISPs, or mobile industry and have been in an environment where you have had the interface with software departments and end customers. You should be comfortable working with Linux and command line interfaces.
