Senior Network Operations Engineer to Netmore!
Are you an experienced Senior Network Operations Engineer who wants to be part of a company that breathes and exudes top quality delivery of the best network to its customers? In this position, you will have a leading Operations role in an expansive environment where there is pulse and movement, and everything moves forward at lightning speed.
A day in your work life
In this role, you never know what your day will look like, which is just what makes this opportunity so exciting. Here you will get an insight into what your working day may can look like:
Start by analyzing the outcome of events summarized by the 24/7 monitoring team and status check of the current status in the networks. Have there been any upgrades, operational disruptions or customer issues reported by support? The gathered information will produce an overall picture which is the basis for today’s priority. Then you plan upgrades, patches, and improvements to the network/methodology. You monitor the operation and are available for calls from customers and troubleshooting in the networks.
Your responsibilities
As a Senior Network Operations Engineer at Netmore, your responsibility is to find advanced troubleshooting in different environments and networks as a natural and interesting part of your daily work. Apart from other responsibilities, you will also act as a solution designer/architect and support the tech pre-sales team from an operations perspective.
The work is done together with peers and includes a great deal of self-leadership and freedom to work towards common goals and superior customer experience. Even if the job is under office hours, you may need to be available at some odd when upgrades take place or if there may be disturbances in the system that require a "fire-fighting" attitude.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you will work hands-on in switching and routing of LAN / WAN / MAN (Layer 2 & 3, BGP, RIP, IGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF). You have good experience with Firewall and VPN connections. We believe that it is necessary that you have worked for several years with network operations and design.
It is also an advantage that you have good knowledge of:
• Linux
• SD-WAN (NFV, SDN)
• Mobile networks
• Roaming
• LoRaWAN
• Server management
• CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
• CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional
• WiFi-Management
We also see it as a big plus if you come from the Telecom, ISPs, or mobile industry and have been in an environment where you have had the interface with software departments and end customers. In this role, you also need to be fluent in both spoken and written English at a professional level.

You are confident in troubleshooting and have an easy time collaborating in a team.
