Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you interested in working on engineering solutions for fully-built buses and gaining an insight into Scania's complete bus programme?
Our group is part of the bus development division and is responsible for developing Scania's own bodies, Scania Range. We have facilities in Sweden, Finland, Poland and China. In addition, we have our own project office which runs projects independently and works with the R&D project office on larger complete vehicle projects.
In our group there are resources for concept activities, prototyping, testing, A-order design and customer design. We also work closely with purchasing, production, marketing and our end customers from the start of a project right through to the delivery of the buses, regardless of whether this is for a customer order or a new project.
Your profile
You have a degree or equivalent qualifications in engineering and experience of project management at Scania, either as an assignment leader or an object leader. You must have good planning abilities and a structured approach to your work. You need to be able to lead a team and support the team members with creativity and effective working methods.
Experience of working with other cultures is a bonus. Good knowledge of English is a must.
Your role will involve managing projects or subprojects for buses with Scania's own bodies. Your project team members will be located in different countries and in cross-functional groups in Södertälje.
Your job will be based in Södertälje and travel will be necessary, although we are currently working via Microsoft Teams so that we can keep travel to a minimum and work more efficiently. Your role will also include working with other project leaders and as part of our management group to develop processes and working methods. The development of fully-built buses must fit into our business model of fast and efficient development projects, because time to market is important in our industry.
