We are looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Engineer with main work scope as Service Delivery Driver for the newly deployed and ITIL based service delivery model related to build of telecom lab areas and lab test beds.

We deliver the necessary hardware, infrastructure, and related services to provide the required test environment for R&D partners. This implies that the hardware is properly installed and connected to infrastructure and is reachable by remote users for monitoring, configuration, and usage.

As an ICT Engineer you will plan and operate the lab software and hardware solutions for internal users, secure a stable lab environment, and optimize the solutions/services to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities
You will maintain and operate Lund lab infrastructure in a sustainable and efficient way by proactive work with continuous improvements. You work closely with central Service Owners with target to deploy standardized hardware installation services in R&D labs and...
• ... will ensure stable operations of Lund R&D labs by doing documentation of the lab space and test beds via a global Configuration Data Management tools
• ... you will work together with Lund local ICT Architect, ICT project coordinators and Technicians, and our lab partners related to the detailed design of Lund lab space and test beds
• ... you engage and align ongoing work and activities in Lab Operations global collaboration forums such as Community of Practice (CoP) initiatives

This is a full time-position with regular office hours, monday to friday.

Din profil
You are service minded, structured and a great teammate! You show great interest in technical IT solutions and have relevant experience of service deployments with user documentations. It is a merit if you have experience of design and operation of telecom lab infrastructure, and/or competencies within IT Linux and Windows deliveries. Most likely you have relevant education in the telecom field with certificates. Your key competences may include:
• Technical support to customers related to Telecom and/or IT processes, tools & infrastructure
• User documentation of Telecom test beds and/or IT infrastructure
• Configuration of Linux or Windows IT servers, HP servers, Juniper switches to get lab test beds reachable for remote is a plus
• Experience from work with typical lab instruments such as signal analyzers and oscilloscopes for RF calibrations is beneficial

Key Qualifications
• Education: BSc or MSc
• Minimum years of experience: ICT professional competence, two years’ experience
• Domain experience: o Implementation of ICT solutions
o IT Processes, tools and infrastructure knowledge (ITIL)
o Linux and Windows IT environments
o Competencies within IP Networks, Cloud, IT Security and/or Automation is a merit
