Our client is now looking for an IPT Financial Controller!
An IPT Financial Controller is a senior financial lead for the Integrated Program Team (IPT) and also a key business partner to the Program Directors, Program Managers and the Customer Financial Director. In this assignment, you will have the primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities related to the business.
Assignment description
- In this assignment, you will be responsible for reporting on financial status. The reporting is done in the form of producing forecasts, reporting results such as the monthly closing of the books, analyzing deviations and developing improvements for IPT programs.
- You will also be responsible for any bookings that need to be handled for the month end close.
- You will be in charge of cash forecast, overdue payments and initiate collection measures.
- The assignment includes ensuring that the financial figures are reported on time and correctly. This is by monitoring financial performance by measuring and analyzing results.
- You will make financial judgments for the program and ensure these are accurate, complete and properly reflected in the local books and records by the relevant site teams.
- You will coordinate performance analysis based on facts such as forecasted, budgeted and strategically planned financial figures and explain deviations between them.
- Deploy correct financial analysis including forecast processes and procedure are included.
- You will provide key management information and analysis for business decisions and improvements.
- You will work closely with the COE controller and Program Financial Controller at GAS to support the programs.
- You will be responsible for supporting external and internal financial audits for the programs and ensuring that the supporting material is auditable.
In addition to the above duties, you will also:
Have support follow-up of business cases together with the IPT team. You will identify, assess and communicate risks and exposures and develop measures. You will identify risks and opportunities in various forecasts and business cases. The work also includes continuous improvements within the IPT team and within the financial world. You will also support the IPT team in business negotiations with customers, create sales orders, take care of the production of documents for invoices and create these. Finally, you will also be responsible for customer contact in financial matters.
