Your role

As a CAD/PLM Expert you will be part of our IT Methods and Tools (IM&T) team. IM&T is the company's central IT department, which in addition to the traditional IT operations are responsible to support and develop all digital R&D, ERP and Production solutions needed for development and maintenance of our products. We are deeply involved in Saab Kockums world class operations, and support the development and production of our products such as next generations of submarines and surface ships



We are now looking for more PLM and CAD experts to support our business deliver with excellence. We welcome both applicants of a more senior profile with a deeper knowledge in PLM/CAD applications as well as a junior profile that are curious and eager to learn and wants to develop in a high technology company. You will be part of our IT organisation to support processes, methodology, and development of new functionality as well as problem analysis. We dare to say that we have one of the world's coolest PLM environments with a large number of system users that our competent team support working together in cross functional teams.



The main tasks are:

* System application development and testing of new functionality
* Support and educate users of the CAD/PLM applications
* Develop and support methodology and process work improvements
* Data administration and system maintenance
* Secure best practice and staying up to date in the relevant field of technology



Your profile

We are looking for you who are an operative team player with a passion for helping our business improve and perform, by supporting our co-workers in their daily work. You are proactive and open to challenges with a pragmatic view on problem solving. As a person, you are curious, structured and likes to view the tasks from a broad perspective.
You have a good sense of producing and maintaining qualitative and robust solutions that benefits the business. To be successful in the role you have an eye to details, you need to be communicative, service minded with good skills in analysing information.



Required skills:

* Relevant experience in the field of PLM- and 3D CAD applications
* Service minded, experience of administration of software and knowledge of IT operations and support driven by business demand
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written



Desired skills:

* Experience of software solutions e.g. PTC, Aveva, Siemens, Dassault, Autodesk
* Experience of design and production industry is a plus
* Good insight in IT security/cyber security
* University studies in the field of Information Technology or relevant proven IT experience through work life.
* Experience from programming, system integrations and database knowledge is a plus
* Driving license B



This position require that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act. Place of employment is either Malmö or Karlskrona. Business trips between the two sites will occur occasionally.
