We are now looking for Data Analysts to join our Analytics & BI department at Group Expansion.
Group Expansion is the growth engine of the H&M Group, responsible for all aspects of optimizing the H&M Group’s Real Estate Portfolio as well as driving meaningful growth in both digital and physical channels. Each year we will expand into new markets through marketplaces and physical stores and optimize our existing portfolio through rebuilds, extensions, renegotiations, relocations and consolidations.




Job Description


As a Data Analyst in the Analytics & BI team within Group Expansion you will be part of a team of Business Intelligence Analysts, Business Analysts and Data Analysts all working to leverage our data assets to enable us to make better analyses and make data driven decisions across our business.
In the role you will be using internal and external data to perform analysis on areas such store and online growth, store design and customer behavior. You will be supporting the business with proactive analysis and decision support for strategic decisions, key activities, and initiatives, working together with other parts of Expansion and the H&M Group to answer complex business questions. To succeed in the role you will need to take initiative, manage your own projects, communicate clearly with stakeholders and strive to understand what drives our business.




Qualifications


Key responsibilities:
Work with a wide range of stakeholders within Expansion globally to understand their analytical needs
Transform business questions into analyses that results in actionable insights
Analyze large data sets and select, test and develop the best method or model for your analysis together with your manager and other team members
Work on the whole analysis process from start to finish. This means extracting, cleaning, analyzing and presenting your findings
Initiate ad-hoc analyses and quickly respond to upcoming needs when needed
Utilize technical skills in SQL, R, Python, Power BI or other analytics tools that can help you reach your goals

To be successful in this role, you:
Have an academic degree in a quantitative field, such as engineering, business, economics, finance or math/statistics
Have developed strong analytical skills through relevant work experience as a business analyst, data analyst or similar.
Are confident in working with large data sets using SQL and extracting data by writing complex queries.
Expert in analyzing data in at least one of Power BI / R / Python
Have strong business sense and have the ease of seeing the totality and make fast interpretations of data and other information
Are a clear communicator who can easily translate complex analytical methods to business stakeholders and are comfortable in presenting results of your analyses to different stakeholders
Are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues
Love data as much as we do and have a genuine interest in sharpening your analytical skills and creating business value out of data

Additional Information


This is a fulltime assignment, starting as soon as possible. You will be based in our newly renovated office in Liljeholmen, Stockholm. Fluency in English is mandatory; Swedish is not.
