We are looking for Data Engineer – AWS

You will play a key role in developing high-quality, efficient data pipelines on our AWS-based data platform for Finance, Compliance, and Risk. As part of an agile Data Delivery team, you’ll collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Data Analysts, Business
Intelligence developers, and Product Owners to deliver scalable and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and support data pipelines on our AWS-based Data Platform.
· Translate designs and requirements into efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
· Automate processes wherever possible, from CI/CD pipelines to data quality testing.
· Collaborate and assist team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
· Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to the architecture.
· Work in line with DevOps practices, sharing responsibilities for development, testing, deployment, and system performance.

Key Competencies:

· Minimum 2 years of experience with Redshift Data Warehouse development.
· Proficiency with AWS data technologies including S3, Python, IAM, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Spark, Redshift, and Airflow.
· Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL.
· Ability to conceptualize complex technical issues and understand data within a business context.
· Experience in data modeling, particularly for Data Warehouses.
· Background in the banking/financial industry is advantageous.
· Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and Informatica is a plus.
· Knowledge of agile frameworks such as SAFe is beneficial.
