In collaboration with relatives and other care providers, Specialist psychiatry for children, adolescents, and adults in Kronoberg operates a modern and specialized psychiatric care service. A good working environment with a motivated and competent staff is a prerequisite for achieving our mission.

In Specialist Psychiatry, we have a comprehensive medical unit where our doctors are focused on different departments based on competence and interest. We offer care for children, adolescents, and adults both in outpatient as well round-the-clock care. Since 2020, we have had a new hospital for adults and round-the-clock care, outpatient care for children and adolescents. The hospital is located in the center of Växjö on newly-renovated premises. Today, child and adolescent care consist of general psychiatric care, an emergency unit, and a young children's team.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Within a team, you will work as a doctor together with, among others, psychiatric nurses, psychologists, and occupational therapists in order to provide the patient with the correct input. As a specialist/consultant, your placement will be with children and adolescents. In the service, you will mainly work in outpatient care but also work to some extent in round-the-clock care. You will have an experienced psychiatrist as a supervisor.
