• About the workplace
Ljungby Hospital has a service area of approx. 52,000 inhabitants and emergency medical care is provided here at all hours of the day.

The medical clinic is one of Region Kronoberg's largest clinics. Here, open and closed specialized care is provided in internal medicine, other internal medicine specialties (not geriatrics) as well as in neurology, rheumatology and allergology. At the medical clinic, we aim to create good conditions for the future. We stand for a robust operation, safe care and proud employees. At the Medical Clinic in Ljungby, there are a total of approximately 150 employees of various professions. We house a medicine clinic with clinical physiology, bone density measurement (for the entire Kronoberg county) and a dialysis department. Inpatient care consists of two medical departments with two rounds each, one focused on stroke/neurology and internal medicine, the other focused on cardiology and internal medicine.

We have the advantages of a small clinic and are open to ideas and suggestions. It is easy to communicate with other clinics, and with the tailored and short decision paths we offer patients the best possible care. We offer varied work with great opportunities for personal and broad internal medicine development.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Work involves rotation between the internal medicine departments, usual back-call shifts in the emergency department, and reception work. Depending on which subspecialty you have, your tasks will of course be more specifically geared with regards to your competence. This way, you will have varied tasks where no day is the same as the other.

KVALIFIKATIONER
We are looking for registered doctors with specialist competence in internal medicine. We would like to see that you also have knowledge in another subspecialty.
