Your role
As a Power engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be working with development of power electronics for welding products, radar products, control of electric motors and a variety of other applications.
Typical tasks are to be involved in pre-studies, proof-of-concept design, schematic design, certain PCB layout, on-board verification and board bring up.
In Gothenburg, we have more than 50 potential customer projects you can work in and our ambition is that you choose your next assignment, not that the customer chooses you.
The assignments we have in Gothenburg are within telecom, the defense industry and many smaller industrial product companies where we need both junior and Senior Power Engineers.
You are a team player and the assignments require that you to work in agile teams according to Kanban or Scrum.
Your technical background is that you have a couple of years of experience within power engineering.
You have experience from
- AC/DC & DC/DC converters, POL converters, EMI filters, EMC
- Design and evaluation of components
- Schematic design & PCB Layout in Cadence/Mentor Graphics
- Lab experience: Test & Verification and habit of troubleshooting and measuring
- Fluent in English
Particularly desirable are:
Experience from telecom, industry or the defense industry are considered highly meritorious and that these are industries you want to work with.
