About the role
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are seeking Geologists for the Exploration Department with a focus on iron ore deposits. The department is in an expansive phase with responsibilities in exploration in our underground mines and open pits and their close surroundings in Malmberget, Kiruna and Svappavaara, as well as green field exploration and resource estimation. You will be expected to independently work on minor projects from the early exploration stage onwards where we work as a team. We offer an interesting workplace with opportunities for development and challenging duties.
The position is permanent.


Your qualifications
We are looking for Geologists with a B.Sc. or higher and preferably at least 1 year of experience within exploration, mining or project development. Knowledge of common software such as Leapfrog, Vulcan or similar is beneficial. As a person you should be responsible and driven, but also percipient and flexible.
The position includes much contact with others both in and outside the company where good collaboration is essential. A Driving license is a requirement for the position.
You possess both written and spoken English, and additionally Swedish, at least as a beginner and eager to learn.
You will be based in Kiruna or Malmberget, close to the mining operation and city of Kiruna / Gällivare, situated in Swedish Lapland above the Arctic Circle.
