Job Description
The Web Analyst will play an important role in the Business Unit E-commerce teams. You will contribute with decision support through strategic interpretation of data and derived insights. This will help us to set strategies and take actions to further develop a world class customer experience, grow our customer base, drive profitable sales and create meaningful relationships with our customers.
As a Web Analyst you will play a central role in many aspects of the development and growth of our business. You will analyze the customer journey and behavior in all our digital channels. As a Web Analyst you will provide data driven recommendations and drive actions to improve conversion rates as well as our customer experience. You will be part of the Business Unit E-com team and work closely with other teams within the Business Unit. To create customer value, you will also collaborate with various stakeholders outside the Business Unit, including Online Sales, Marketing & Media teams, Business Tech and Web Analyst colleagues across the company.
Your responsibilities
To support strategy, decision making, prioritization and follow up of initiatives. Derive a full overview of the customer journey on hm.com for example:
Provide a holistic understanding of the customer experience, transactional data and sales performance and proactively identify ways to improve
Identify and optimize key conversion paths, determining the most important KPI’s to track and setting benchmarks
Evaluate commercial strategies, campaigns and media investments
Build hypotheses based on data and insights to drive A/B testing or multi-variant testing designs
Take part in driving improved web analytics capabilities and building tools, e.g. identify tracking requirements and driving integration of Google Analytics data into Business intelligence systems
Qualifications
For you to succeed as Web Analyst we believe that you are/have:
Analytical and keen to find trends, patterns and true answers to maximize customer experience
Goal and result oriented. You can navigate in a highly complex environment in a global role
Degree within relevant field as marketing, economics, mathematics, engineering or similar
Strong experience in web analytics (or similar, CRO, Data analyst) working with different data sets and understanding performance drivers
Minimum 2 years relevant working experience within E-commerce for Consumer Goods
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and/or Data Studio, Tableau, GTM, Tealium, Clicktale or similar
Beneficial with prior A/B testing experience and knowledge within Optimizely, Content square, HTML, SQL, JavaScript or similar
