Overview

SCA IT Services are looking for a Web Application Owner to drive development and operations of web application(s). You will be supported by an external managed service partner to fulfill requests, solve incidents, problems and service requests.

The solutions are global including brand sites, e-business, social media, mobile functionality and integration with internal systems like SAP and external services like YouTube and Facebook.

The roles are located in Gothenburg and reports to the Manager for Web Services.

Main Tasks

. Be the main IT contact for customer and our external managed service partner regarding future direction of web application

. Drive requirements gathering / investigations with support from a lead developer

. Manage our external service partner on a daily level by prioritizing work, act as an escalation point, participate in governance forums, demand planning etc.

. Coordinate roll-outs, campaigns etc.

. Drive service development

Educational requirements and Experience

. Minimum of 5 years experience in web development projects and/or service management

. Driving and facilitating pre-studies and requirement analysis

. University/University of applied science degree in Information Technology (with an emphasis on Economics) or similar

You should also have solid experience from:

. Agile software development (Scrum)

. Web Content Management tools (like EPiServer, SDL etc.)

. Project management / coordination

. IT Service Management and managing a delivery team (onshore/offshore)

. Experience of Kanban is an advantage

Personal skills

We are looking for someone with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT. To be successful in this role you should have a holistic thinking, excellent communication skills, a strong business and service orientation. You should have the ability and willingness to gain new functional skills with web related applications and tools. We think you are an excellent team-player, self-motivated and proactive with a positive 'can do' attitude. Fluent English is required in this position.
