The Stockholm International Water Institute, which is a part of the Stockholm Water Company, is looking for a hardworking, creative individual who possesses strong writing skills and a background in web planning and management, development, maintenance and promotion/marketing/outreach to join its dedicated team as webmaster.The position is full-time, starting at the earliest possible date and June 15 at the latest.The position is based at the SIWI headquarters on Drottninggatan in Stockholm, Sweden.The web sites include www.siwi.org, www.worldwaterweek.org, www.watergovernance.org, and www.swedishwaterhouse.se.General Requirements -Ability to articulate and demonstrate, using current web development tools and methodologies, the successful design, implementation and maintenance of intranet and internet web sites and applications.- Experience working with web development and server technologies.-Experience developing and maintaining web sites that use dynamic page generation tools such as a content management system.- Experience working with external consultants, tendering bids, etc.Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in web design and development, or a combination of education and experience -Strong web writing skills -Solid understanding and creative implementation of advanced design principles -Expertise in developing, maintaining, and updating material - Experience in developing and maintaining restricted access web material - Good knowledge of Dreamweaver - Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other photo layout programmes .English fluency (preferably as a mother tongue) How to apply for the position A Curriculum Vitae and personal letter should be sent to Ms.For more information, contact Mr.Applications must be received at the latest by 25 May 2007.The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a policy institute that contributes to international efforts to find solutions to the world's escalating water crisis.SIWI advocates futureoriented, knowledge-integrated water views in decision making, nationally and internationally, that lead to sustainable use of the world's water resources, sustainable development of societies and reduced poverty.
