Communication and digital technologies are one key element, among several, for a successful realization of the ongoing transformation. Scania’s Communications Department operates globally with several key stakeholders. We are now recruiting a talented and passionate Web Content Manager to enhance and evolve our presence in digital channels even further.

The role

The Web Content Manager is responsible for securing an on-brand experience on scania.com using AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) as a CMS platform. The role includes setting digital strategies in various global initiatives as well as hands-on work in AEM. To do so the Web Content Manager will be working closely with a corresponding role within the team as well as marketing and editorial communicators, product owner in cross-functional teams, Scania IT, other internal Scania stakeholders, and external agencies. We are currently a team consisting of twelve people with both strategic and operational tasks within marketing communication, editorial communication, and online strategy. The role will also secure production time plan, budget, and agency contact. This requires both a holistic mindset as well as excellent hands-on skills in AEM or equivalent CMS-platform. It also requires an understanding of communication and, preferably, behavioral science. All in all, we want to make sure Scania´s digital presence strengthens both our business and our brand awareness.

Core responsibilities include:



• Interpreting communication assignments and how to convert them into digital initiatives
• Bringing forth ideas and setting digital strategies for different campaigns
• Hands-on creating sites, pages, and digital experiences in AEM including publishing 
• Managing language adaptations in global assignments 
• Project management for digital initiatives and setting requirements for IT and external agencies

Your profile

You have extensive work experience from:


• Daily online digital communication
• Working with AEM or similar CMS tools (creating and publishing sites)
• Content and asset production and search engine optimization
• Working with external suppliers
• Online audience behavior 
• Complex organizational structures and simultaneously coordinating different projects
• Working using both English and Swedish and you are fluent in both languages
• You have an academic degree or similar, in media or marketing communication.
