In short, iZettle's BackOffice System has for primary mission to allow Merchants across the world to easily get access to their Data, Reports and all sorts of innovative features facilitating their success. Part of the Client Foundation Area, our Team's day-to-day ambition consists in making iZettle's BackOffice Platform ever more scalable, proficient and secure with a focus on creating remarkable experiences for Developers in our Product Teams while developing key client-facing interfaces ourselves. We have plenty of exciting projects on-going and more on the horizon as we are invariably looking to break new grounds. An example? For instance, we are moving from a monolithic legacy component to a Micro-Frontend Architecture with the latest and greatest tools in the Web Development world.
In other words, this role offers a rare opportunity to team-up and experiment together with a fun team of driven People (happily) busy building a first-class Web Platform. Lastly, as a Member of the iZettle's Web Chapter you will also have the possibility to regularly co-elaborate with other Teams and Web Developers, from code reviews to bouncing ideas and mob programming.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
Developing technical guidelines and architectural principles for the BackOffice System through constant experimentation, learning, and collaboration with product teams;
Designing, implementing, and maintaining services and libraries to support these principles and empower product teams to release faster;
Maintaining and improving shared visual components and pages of the BackOffice System, such as dashboards, navigation, user settings, etc.
The skills and traits to succeed:
A proven experience in Web Development with a solid expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS, NodeJS, API design, Unit and integration testing;
A quality first mindset combined with a thirst for keeping up-to-date with the latest technological innovations;
A true motivation for being part of a collaborative environment spiced up with great social and communication skills.
Get bonus points if you...
Have experience with Storybook, RxJS, Ramda, GraphQL, Redux, Styled Components;
Know Elm, Ruby (as mentioned above, our Ruby legacy code is coming to an end);
Have worked with AWS.
