We are currently looking to expand our Digital Development-team with a Web Developer.

Assignment:

In the role as Web Developer, you will be working with development of our e-commerce platform – delivering high-quality web services, functions, customizations and integrations, together with your colleagues in the Digital Development-team.

You will be a part of the Technology & Security-organization within Kjell Group and you will report to the Digital Development Director.

Your responsibilities will include:


• Front-end and minor back-end development in accordance with agreed priority (in JIRA/DevOps) 
• Delivering program code that has been thoroughly reviewed and tested by following project processes, guidelines, best practice and test procedures  
• Review developed code 
• Acceptance testing and regression testing
• Performance optimization of kjell.com 
• Writing guides and manuals for new functions before handover to end users  
• Continuously staying updated on news and changes that can create value for your role as a developer

Your background:

We believe that the right candidate for this position might have just finalized their education (YH/Bachelor) in programming (C# .Net, HTML, Javascript, CSS), or have gained an equivalent amount of knowledge through work experience within the area of web development and project work.

Besides knowledge in the languages listed above, we believe that you are familiar with React and Typescript. Previous experience within the area of e-commerce, Git, Visual Studio, New Relic and Raygun is a plus.

For this role you will need to have very good communication skills in verbal and written Swedish, and good communication skills in English.

This role is based at the Kjell Group Head Office in Malmö, Sweden, and may include a limited number of travel days per year. We have adopted a hybrid workplace-approach, where co-workers can choose to divide their working time 50/50 in the office or working remotely.
