As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, our Activation Area is on the lookout for a Web Developer with a good deal of experience working in an Agile environment combined with a Full-Stack mindset.
To cut a long story short, the core mission of our Area is all about enabling our new sellers to smoothly be up and running so that they can start selling and getting paid. To make the magic happen, we rely on talented and diverse cross-functional Teams creating hassle-free solutions helping million of merchants across the world.
A glimpse of what you will get here
The technical work includes working with our GO app and the flows, services, handling our Public Web,and the Help Center, plus our Webshop for the card readers and accessories.
The tech stack of the Activation Area span the full architecture, from DB layer, via Java / Kotlin Back-End, to JS Mid-layers and finally React and Typescript FE, plus iOS and Android for the app development, and all work closely together to develop a robust solution which caters our sellers need.
A glimpse of what you will be doing here
In this role, you will co-elaborate with a wide spectrum of People including Designers in order to create a tailored User Experience for our sellers. It's important that you have a basic understanding of API design and how to consume them but no big deal if you don't, we will be there to help you out!
You'll have the ability to architect your modules, at the same time as being able to consume global components from our library and tokens from our design system. You will be able to collaborate with other teams and developers across the whole web chapter, by code reviews, bouncing back ideas or mob programming.
Your responsibilities will include design, implement, debug and maintain services with a high degree of autonomy. You will work on interesting problems together with talented peers in cross-functional Agile teams, experiments and learn about design, technology and processes.
The skills to succeed:
Javascript, HTML and CSS, TypeScript.
Frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, GraphQL, RxJS and Express.
Experience of test-driven development (Unit tests, E-2-E tests, Regression tests, etc).
The traits to exceed:
Strong collaborator and comfortable working in an agile environment.
Interested in keeping up-to-date with the latest technological development.
Comfortable with interacting with external partners.
Keen on understanding the full domain and other platforms which might not be your area of expertise.
Passionate about writing clean code.
Earn extra point with:
Java / Kotlin, API development experience.
Webpack.
Experience with AWS CloudFront and Terraform.
ESLINT for TDD.
Ramda and Ruby (FYI, we’re moving away from it)
