Web Editor to important EU-agency!

About the position
At Perido we are now looking for a Web Editor to our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The staff are currently working from home due to the Covid- pandemic, though according to the recommendations of the public health authority the plan at the moment is a gradual return to the office in Solna in October.
Your daily tasks
Your workday as Web Editor will be filled with exciting and diversifying tasks. You will report to the Group Leader of Editing, Design and Digital Platforms. Your main tasks during the day:
Monitor the coherence of the structure, the methods of navigation and the content of the websites.
Ensure that the information architecture enables the agency content to be displayed effectively and to be easily found by users.
Review website structure, navigation, taxonomy, and search to improve the user experience.
Contribute to the content management and technical maintenance of the agency’s websites.
Provide guidance to authors in preparation of web content and information architecture.
Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Your qualifications
To be successful and thrive in this role you need very good organizational skills and the capacity to coordinate processes. We believe that you have an eye for details, the ability to think outside the box, make suggestions of change and improvements and are keen to take initiative in your work. You are able to work under pressure and organize your work and prioritize accordingly. We believe that you have excellent service mindset, the capability to communicate efficiently at all levels - internally and externally - and finally; an excellent ability to work in a team!

Requirements
Post-secondary education and relevant professional experience
Experience and knowledge with the relevant aforementioned tasks
Experience in web content management ad information architecture
Good understanding of content management systems (Drupal or similar CMS)
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
Excellent command of English; spoken and written

Meritorious
Knowledge and experience in HTML and CSS
Understanding of the technical aspects of web publishing
Experience in professional use of social media

Contract type and hours
Full time assignment. Start as soon as possible, until the end of the year 2021 (with possible extension).
