Web Manager to The Swedish Club

We are looking for a Web Manager for The Swedish Club, this is an assignment through KIMM/Wise Professionals, and it is a full-time job. The position is at The Swedish Club’s head office, Gullbergs Strandgata 6 in Gothenburg. The start of the assignment is 1 September 2022 and will last at least nine months, with a chance of extension.

The Swedish Club was founded by shipowners in 1872 and is today a leading mutual insurance company owned and controlled by its members. The Club writes Protection & Indemnity (P&I), Freight Demurrage & Defence (FD&D), Hull & Machinery (H&M), and Hull Interests, Loss of Hire, War Risks and any additional insurance required by shipowners or charterers. It also writes Loss of Hire for Mobile Offshore Units and FPSOs. The Club has currently 125 employees. Main responsibilities

As a Web Manager, you will be responsible for the content and structure of the web and publications, newsletters and the intranet. You will be a part of the Marketing Communications department, work with two other colleagues, and report to the Marketing Communications Manager.

Your primary responsibilities are:

• Be responsible for the corporate web updates – content and structure for three websites (WordPress)

• Ensure the website is fully optimised for search engines

• Monitor, report and analyse results to improve performance

• Digital Newsletters (APSIS)

• Update the Intranet with content (SharePoint)

Background and skills

· University degree in Digital Marketing

· You have experience in a similar role before

· Excellent communication skills in English and good communication skills in Swedish

· You have experience in writing for online, print and social media communications

· You have great competence within Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, WordPress and SharePoint

· You have a good eye for details and good organisational skills

As a person, you are responsive to the organisational needs and can identify solutions to make workflows more efficient. You are patient, and you enjoy working independently and in a team. You have experience in working against deadlines with a structured and proactive approach.

You have a strong ability to take ownership and responsibility to drive your work forward independently and in cooperation with others. To be successful in this position, we also see that you have strong communication skills, emotional intelligence and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with different stakeholders.
