We are looking for an experienced and proactive Web Editor to join our Corporate Communications Unit. This is a central role where you will support the global organization with curation, editing and writing for the website, social media channels and the intranet.
You will work with employees across our 10 office locations around the world to manage and improve SEI’s digital activities, including editing of content in English and working with our Website Manager to improve the SEI website. You will also support the creation of user-focused, high-quality and innovative content on SEI’s digital platforms.
The role involves working on ad hoc editing and writing requests and planned content improvements on the digital platforms. It is essential that the successful candidate enjoys a fast-paced work environment and interaction with many internal stakeholders. We want you to understand the importance of and be able to balance consistency and quality with flexibility and innovation of content.
You genuinely enjoy working with social media on a daily basis. You will continue developing insights on the channel and behavioural preferences of our audiences, using analytics and analysis to follow up and report on engagement and impact. You have experience creating social media strategies and implementation thereof, as well as informal guidance of other team members contributing content to the feeds.
You will work closely with the Head of Unit on internal communications and writing content and coordinating contributions to the intranet and newsletter.
Key duties and responsibilities
Support global communications team on use and improvement of digital channels and offer advice for content and platform questions
Manage SEI’s corporate social media accounts, including innovative content creation, publishing and coordination
Proactively plan, curate and create content aligned with SEI strategy for all digital platforms
Coordinate tasks in editorial planner and support inboxes
Publish content to SEI website and perform quality assurance for content and formatting of work posted by others
Along with colleagues, work to improve SEI website
Perform quality assurance for branding and design for visual consistency
Edit and write digital content in English
Create and maintain documentation to support communications processes and improve the quality of digital content
Coordinate SEI’s internal and external newsletters, including creating, sending and improving on them
Promote and support use of intranet and create content when needed
Conduct training for new and existing staff on web content creation and publishing, intranet use and related topics.

Who you are
We are looking for an organized and proactive Web Editor with experience in producing and editing content on digital channels. You will be one of SEI’s global experts on our digital platforms and will enable others on the team to create and share their content while upholding the integrity of SEI’s brand.
Since this is a central role at a global organization, you need an inclusive and service-minded attitude and the ability to balance conflicting priorities.
Formal qualifications and knowledge
Degree in communications or related field
At least 5 years’ experience working with editing, web publishing, website improvements and social media
Track record of creating, editing and publishing quality digital content in English
Proven experience with coordination of teams and project management
Proven experience with web content management systems (ideally WordPress)
Experience in monitoring, analyzing and reporting with digital analytics
Experience editing web images using Adobe Photoshop or similar an advantage
Near-native English language skills
Experience using other Adobe Creative Cloud tools an advantage
Experience with SEO, web accessibility and user journeys an advantage.

Additional information
This is a full-time permanent position with placement at SEI HQ in Stockholm, Sweden. We apply a standard six-month probation period. The start date is as soon as possible or by arrangement.
You do not need to be a Swedish or EU citizen nor have a work or residence permit to apply for a job at SEI HQ.
SEI has a hybrid work environment, which allows employees to share their time between the SEI office and working remotely from their homes in Sweden. Please note that it is not possible to work outside of Sweden.
