The Team

We are a team of eight dedicated supplier quality engineers with different backgrounds working within the Supplier Quality department. Our team is part of the Purchasing organisation and responsible for quality assuring our suppliers. We have several open positions connected to the exciting bus area with responsibilities for parts of various complexity. Your specific area can be tailored to suit your background.

Your profile

Being part of our team means that you will meet diverse cultures and organisations. This requires you to be a professional, social and diplomatic person. You have a structured way of working with an eye for details. You are comfortable in the English language and have a technical background, engineering degree or similar.

Your tasks

You will have an important role when it comes to supplier selections in new sourcing cases. You will follow the suppliers through the projects and make sure they fulfil the Scania requirements and also monitor their performance towards Scania production. You will have a meaningful part of introducing new technology for Scania trucks and buses. This will be done in cooperation with your colleagues at Scania purchasing, research & development, production and of course our suppliers.

The location

Our office is located in Södertälje, Sweden. We have a flexible workplace, which also gives you the possibility to work partly from home. Since our suppliers are present all over the world, travelling will be part of your job as well. The need for travels is mainly decided by you and can be planned so it suits your situation.
