We're looking for a Process Engineer for our client!

About the company

Our client works with environmental friendly manufacturing of batteries, for them, sustainability provides a bedrock to their mission of building a green lithium ion battery to enable the European transition to a clean, carbon-neutral energy future. They intend to set a new benchmark for sustainable manufacturing, not only of batteries but for manufacturing at large.

We're now looking for a Process Engineer to join them on their mission - this is a consulting contract via Lernia Bemanning which means you will be hired by Lernia Bemanning AB and working as a consultant at our clients offices.

About the role

The Manufacturing Process Engineers will be experts in one or several defined process areas which includes deep knowledge in battery systems product and process design, process DOEs and new product industrialization. You will play an important role to interface with equipment suppliers and to collaborate with Northvolt equipment and factory design teams to efficiently integrate the process, equipment, and factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Development of new/innovative manufacturing processes
• Characterize existing processes
• Define critical parameters and establish controls to ensure capability
• Execute DOEs to optimize process conditions and improve output
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Lead Design for Manufacturability
• Drive Process Commissioning on new equipment and production lines
• Establish Process controls for SPC
• Develop and Drive PFMEA
• Assist in supplier selection for equipment and components

About you

Qualifications

To succeed in this job we believe that you have:

• a technical bachelors degree (i.e engineer of some sort)
• a minimum of 6 years experience from a similar job
• Good language skills in English, both written and oral. Swedish is a plus.
