Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Wireharness designer to join our passionate team in Stockholm. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The team you would join will primarily support the Battery Systems customer projects with creating an electrical distribution system.
You will be working closely with the Mechanical, Purchasing, Systems, Validation and Manufacturing team to design the next generation of battery packs and modules.
Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working with electrical systems as well as product development.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and develop wire harnesses
Manage the Harness BOM, cable list and all design documentation.
Change management and revision handling of parts and harnesses
Create drawings in 2D or 3D
Build, develop and maintain relations with key stakeholders such as design engineers, productions processors, purchasing and suppliers

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
A Bsc/Msc degree in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Mechatronics/Relevant University Degree
Experience working in Electrical Distribution Systems or System Design
Preferred experience in E3 Zuken or NX, or other relevant CAD software.
Proficient knowledge and experience in industry standards
Proficient knowledge in creating and reading electrical schematics
Must have worked in multi-cultural environment
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
Highly organized and result-driven
An eye for detail
Proactive and goes beyond expectations
Has a can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to work in a high profile and often high pressured international environment
