Wiring Harness Engineer

We at MODIS are currently looking for EDS and Wiring Harness Engineers for cars and Heavy veichles to Gothenburg!

About the role
As a Wiring Harness Engineer r you will have operational responsibility for a component or sub-module delivery. You will drive the work from an operational perspective and needs to have a capacity to work individually or with a small team actively to secure the deliverables. You will also lead Harness design engineering activities in a particular area and play an active role in the delivery. Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality and readiness before release. Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team.

For this position, you will develop high technical complexity harness in heavy veicles or Cars. Provide input in product and system roadmaps. Drive the development from research/early phases of development to product maintenance. Ensure the design fulfills the business targets/ requirements. Develop and share acquired competence (e.g. training) and provide technical advice. Manage networking across the organization, as well as influencing the work in other sites.

About you
We are looking for candidates with a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. You have minimum 3 years of experience within the field. Some experience from Wiring Harness development and design is a must. Experience from automotive industry is mandatory. Furthermore, you are driven, have the capacity to work individually and in a group and has a structured way of working.

Qualifications
Bc or M Sc. In Mechanical Engineering or in relevant area
Minimum 3 years´ experience from automotive industry.
Experience from Wiring Harness Design
Experience in using Catia V5 and/or Pro-E/Creo
Knowledge in SABER schematics
Living in or near Gothenburg, Sweden with a valid working permit
Previous experience from Volvo Group/Volvo Cars systems is highly meritorious (e.g. KOLA/TeamCenter)
Fluent in english and Swedish is merit.
