Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Wiring & Harness Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Contribute to the design of technical solutions according to set prerequisites, such as system design and installation requirements for customer adaptation projects.
Support and lead component installation and media routing work in buses, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and ready solutions.
Develop customized design solutions by investigating existing documentation in KOLA and CATIA, and creating new designs documented in KAP.
Work closely with responsible design engineers within platform development to build layouts in CATIA and create efficient solutions.
Manage customer orders with short lead times, such as extending wheelbase, installing new fuel tanks, and relocating battery boxes.
Play an active role in project delivery, integrating and coordinating contributions from others while maintaining quality and readiness.
Ensure designs meet business targets and requirements, and contribute to business development and innovation initiatives.
Provide networking across the organization and offer insights into project prerequisites based on component history.
Complete engineering tasks within projects, participating in various phases to deliver high-quality results.

What you bring:
Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, engineering physics) and/or several years of pertinent work experience.
Strong proficiency with Saber or similar tools for 2D wiring design.
A high level of commitment and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to take the lead in various projects and situations.
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, skilled in implementing small adjustments within projects.
Proficiency in English and strong communication skills in Swedish.
Expertise in packaging within CATIA V5, including the routing of electrical wiring harnesses, power cables, pneumatic pipes, and brake hoses.
Familiarity with systems and development processes (e.g., KOLA).
Willingness and ability to be located in our factory in Borås three days a week.
