About the job
Product Group Parts Distribution and Logistics (PDL) in Alfa Laval has the responsibility for the global distribution center network that sources and supplies parts to customers, service organisation and manufacturing centers.
As the Product Owner for our warehouse management system (WMS), you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a new WMS solution for PDL, eventually to support the future warehouse processes within PDL globally.
In your role, you will:
* interact with stakeholders, monitor and channel current and new industry practices into process innovation
* translate the business and technical requirements into system needs and ensure clear acceptance criteria
* manage and prioritize the Team Backlog – coordinate priorities and maintain conceptual and technical integrity.
As part of the Distribution and Sourcing Value Stream, you will work in close collaboration with our WMS system supplier, as well as the distribution centers. You will oversee and lead the digital implementation ahead, as a part of a highly motivated team, delivering value via the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) delivery framework.
The position is located in Lund and reports to PDL Operations Development Manager. You should expect travels to our distribution centers as part of the job, however, the travel will be limited in the beginning.

Developing relations across the organization and with our customers is important to you. You have a strong analytical profile with a sense for details, but with a holistic mindset to explain complex things in a simple way.
You are motivated by progress and results and are good at celebrating milestones with your peers.
What you know
We believe that you have previous experience and competence from:
* implementing warehouse management system
* warehouse operations and logistics processes with their underlying challenges
* collaborating with WMS system suppliers
You have a university degree, e.g. in System Science, Engineering within Logistics or similar and are fluent in English. It’s an advantage if you are familiar with agile development and have previous leadership experience, but it is not a requirement for the right person.
