Throughout the year, VTD distributes packages, newspapers and mail to over 700,000 households on the west coast and we are driven by both providing excellent service and contributing to society by spreading the democracy and socially important information to your door.

About the job

As a distributor at VTD, you are an important part of spreading free word and democracy in Sweden by ensuring that journalism reaches every home. We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our team in Halmstad. With us, you are offered a varied night job where you work part-time for a few hours per night. You start your shift at our branch in Sävedalen shortly after midnight. From here you then deliver parcels, newspapers and mail to customers in good time for morning coffee. Being a distributor involves quite physically demanding night work where you work mostly alone.

This district is distributed by electric bike. Training starts as soon as possible.

Position: It's 2 openings, Permanent contract.
Working hours: Night starting around 02:00. Aprox. 3 hours.
Schedule: 1 night/week

Obout the person we are looking for

As a person, it is important that you are responsible, have a high sense of service and enjoy being awake during the late hours of the night when others are sleeping. You work independently and to thrive in the role, we believe you are a good problem solver who can work in a methodical and planning manner to meet deadlines. Regardless of the vehicle you drive, it is important that you have no problems staying outside in all weathers, all year round.

Salary: Negotiated with Transportarbetareförbundet.
New employee: 146,16 kr/hour
Inconvenience allowance (OB):
Monday-Friday: 9,90 kr/hour
Saturday: 19,72 kr/hour
Sunday & Holiday: 29,75 kr/hour
