The role
As Workday Functional Analyst - Absence Lead, your purpose is to support Schibsted in its ambition to become increasingly digital by providing state-of-the-art scalable and integrated HR platforms that provide a faster, happier, better and safer end to end user experience to our internal customers.

Key responsibilities & achievements:

Responsible for actively participating in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through configuration, testing, training, communication and deployment

Perform consultant-like duties on Workday projects, responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, testing and deployment of the Workday solution

Develop working relationships with other members of team and management as well as external clients

Understand the value of a project plan, adheres to established processes and standards, monitors progress of tasks against plan, and reports status to appropriate team members as it relates to project issues

Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use Workday with the end to end process and a great user experience in mind

Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues

Train colleagues in the people community and the wider Schibsted in becoming strong Data-Driven Workday users and advocates to the business

Contribute to knowledge management capital through activities such as sharing documented lessons learned, Q&A, documented deliverables & facilitation of knowledge sharing sessions


About you
We believe you have some years of experience with Workday HCM & Absence configuration including security. Prior certification is a plus. Experience with or interest in other technologies such as ServiceNow HR, RPA, Chatbots, etc is also needed for the role. It is important that you understand the HR operations and have experience in employee data management. We believe you have the ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution. As well as understanding of the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements

You are a driven self starter with mathematical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is a must as well as an analytical mindset. The collaboration skills of yours are excellent and the ability to work cross-border. To be fluent in English is needed for the role.
