Who you are
We are looking for a Workplace Services Manager to lead more than 100 co-workers who provide service and support to the Ingka/Inter IKEA offices in Sweden. Together, we create a seamless experience for our colleagues and visitors every day at the office. We do that by offering services such as reception greeters, restaurants, events, communication, office support and much more.
You will also be part of the management team within Ingka AB where the members lead the development together with the CEO regarding strategies, goals and follow-ups for the business. As Workplace Services Manager, you will report to the CEO.

You dare to challenge the existing and try new solutions together with your team and stakeholders. You demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with a focus on creating customer value while strengthening our value-based culture in times of constant change. You have the ability to understand the IKEA business and you are comfortable in handling unclear or unpredictable situations.
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
- Deep understanding of Workplace services and/or Facility management.
- Several years as a manager with experience in larger international structures.
- Knowledge of analyzing and anticipating trends and behaviors to adapt and adjust business and processes to answer to customer needs.
- Strong ability to prioritize and provide clear directions.
- Good communication skills, both in Swedish and English.
And, of course, you share and live the IKEA culture and values and have a genuine interest in home furnishing.


Your responsibilities
As Workplace Services Manager you will have the overall responsibility to lead both business and people within the function to support other Ingka/IKEA companies in Sweden.
Your main assignments will be:
• Lead business and people within the entire function and secure an efficient, lean, and high performing organization.
• Strategically and proactively develop the business according to customers’ needs today and tomorrow by monitoring the world around us.
• Secure deep collaboration with our customers and other relevant stakeholders.
• Encourage and contribute to close collaboration within the function, with a focus on an excellent and seamless customer experience.
• Encourage to constantly improve ways of working by simplify and reduce cost, waste, and resources to create profit and reach defined goals.
• Provide good working conditions and give people the possibility to grow, both as individuals and in their professional role by securing and maintaining a great place to work.
• Drive and contribute to an open and sharing climate – being a role model and ambassador for the IKEA Values

You will belong to Ingka AB, which is a part of the Ingka group, and your location will be in Älmhult.

We offer services that create great value to enable Ingka/IKEA companies in Sweden to focus on their core business.
