The Education Office (EdO) is one of the Professional Services units at SSE. We are currently 54 staff members working in EDO. We function as a Hub in the SSE journey. We provide and develop professional academic support for all stakeholders and students (BSc, MSc, PhD) during their SSE journey. It includes assessment, program management, scholarships, international collaborations, and quality measurements, academic support, central course and exam coordination, degrees, and certificates.



We are looking for a service provider who can and wants to be involved in the development of our Info Center and bring it to its fullest potential.

You will be an important part in developing our internal as well as external service and in strengthening the brand of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). 

The vision of the Info Center 
Our vision is to provide world class service to our students and visitors through a one stop shop – the Info Center. The Info Center is the “face” of SSE for all our visitors, primarily our students, external guests and other stakeholders and provides them with world class service and lasting professional impressions. The Info Center is the first point of contact for student related inquiries and general information about the School.

The role 
Your work duties will be broad and various; as you will be a part of developing the SSE Info Center the tasks will also develop over time. You will be highly involved in and expected to initiate and drive business process improvements. Your primary customers will be the SSE students and you will provide them with study administrative support and services. You will also assist and give support to business units within SSE. Your areas of expertise will include, but will not be limited to: 

- Information management: address, handle and administer questions and guide customers efficiently through our various channels. Welcome, provide information and practical help to our customers.
- Quality management: continuously updating our knowledge management system in a dialogue with our different units and stakeholders.
- Task management: being the first point of contact to our customers, referring students to contacts in the organization and issuing certificates.

Qualifications
You are a professional service provider with a strong customer focus who can and are passionate about providing customers with excellent service and meeting people’s needs. You are collaborative and work well with all people, both internally and externally. You are a structured problem-solver who are autonomous and can prioritize efficiently among incoming inquiries. Furthermore, you have great communication skills which means that you can adapt your way of communicating depending on the situation and person, ask relevant questions, express yourself clearly, short and concisely, and consult with colleagues when needed. You enjoy working in a high-paced environment and are composed, balanced and controlled in stressful situations. 

Requirements: 
- Gymnasium degree (or equivalent).
- Work experience from customer service and being first line support.
- Oral and written fluency in English and Swedish.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications, such as Office 365.
- Experience and a great interest in digital ways of working, as well as interested in how technology can enhance customer service. 

Meritorious: 
- Experience from working in a similar environment as the SSE Info Center or for example a hotel reception.
- Experience from working with a task management system.
- Experience from higher education, either study or work related, and preferably knowledge of the student journey. 

Terms 
This is a full-time, fixed-term position or approximately 6-9 months. Given that we are a dynamic organization with a lot going on there might be a possibility to prolong the position. Preferred starting date as soon as possible with the consideration of any period of notice.
