Young Talent Program - Development Engineer, Materials Core Team Member-LUN0000SM
We are looking for hungry, talented and highly motivated newly graduates!
The Young Talent Program is a two year trainee program for engineers, starting in September 2015. As participant you will get a unique chance to explore and develop your potential and your talents. In the program, you will have the opportunity to both contribute to and influence the Tetra Pak development in a long perspective. You will be a part of an innovative technical environment at the absolute forefront of food packaging.
In the Young Talent Program you will become recruited to a certain department and position already from the beginning. You will follow a development plan that is specifically designed for you and your position. The plan will include a combination of job-rotations into different organisations, international assignments, work in your own department as well as formal training and seminars.
Main responsibilities
As a Development Engineer/ Core Team Member you will have the technical responsibility to develop future packaging materials fulfilling demands in the Food Packaging value chain from society, consumer and customer (food producers) as well as the Tetra Pak quality and cost requirements.
The position includes:
- Act as a Core Team Member in projects with responsibility of packaging material requirements, risks, planning, budgeting and reporting to governance.
- Plan, order and execute packaging material tests. Analyse results and conclude findings in development reports.
- Interact with colleagues in areas as Systems Engineering, Base Materials, Converting Line, Packaging Material, Filling Line and Package & Distribution Solutions.
Qualifications
Based on our experience you will need a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering or Engineering related to polymer materials. Knowledge in surface chemistry & physics, statistics, project management and cost calculations is highly valued.
As a participant in the Young Talent Program you should have a mature and professional personality. You are a true team player and acting as a leader comes naturally for you when required. You have good communication skills and have the ability to create and utilize a broad international network. You like to solve problems and have a strong personal drive. You are passionate about applying your theoretical knowledge in actual product development challenges. It is important that you are result oriented with a strong technical interest and an analytical ability. You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
